The Fitness Center at The Water’s Edge proudly houses the latest in cardiovascular and strength training equipment; chosen for its versatility and ease of use. Most pieces of equipment in our Fitness Center can be used by Members of all fitness levels, from the advanced weight trainer to the pre and post-rehabilitative population.

Fitness Center - Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday 6:30 am – 9:00 pm
Friday 6:30 am – 8:00 pm
Saturday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
The only thing better than the equipment in our Fitness Center is our staff! Friendly and knowledgeable, our Exercise Specialists have degrees in Physiology and Exercise Science. With advanced training Certifications in Pre and Post-Rehabilitative Exercise and Exercise for Cancer patients, our staff has the ability to work with individuals at all fitness levels, including those transitioning from Physical Therapy back to a state of complete well-being and independence. Our Personal Trainers are all Nationally Certified. They are committed to and interested in helping you reach your fitness goals!
Pre and Post-Rehabilitation Training may be utilized for any condition that would benefit from Physical Therapy (refer to our Physical Therapy and Aquatic Therapy web pages) or from Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. Sessions may be performed either on land or in the water, according to the client’s needs and desires. Note: A Health History and Physicians Release are required prior to beginning these programs.
Sports Conditioning Programs are designed on an individual basis or according to team needs. Programs are sports “specific” for golf, tennis, baseball, football, softball, soccer...whatever your sport – our Trainers and Exercise Specialists can help you improve your speed, agility, strength, balance and coordination to improve your game!
Weight Loss Assistance includes nutritional counseling along with ever-progressing exercise programs, all based-on ability and desire. Need emotional support? Utilize a friend, coworker or small group – we don’t mind working with a team! Want a private exercise session away from other facility Members? We don’t mind that either; just let us know, as we are happy to accommodate your needs. We want you to be comfortable and our concern is your success!
Fitness & Wellness Regimes and Weight Training Programs are for anyone hoping to improve their current level of health and/or conditioning. Whether your goals are personal or for purposes of competition, our Trainers will keep you motivated, committed and challenged by varying exercise equipment, routines and programs according to your specified goals, allowing for

Personal Training is offered in 60-minute sessions and may be purchased as individual sessions or in packages of 3, 6 or 12-session packages. Please give us a call or stop by and pay us a visit for more information!
Group Orientations
Tuesdays 9:00 am
Thursdays 5:15 pm
Group Orientations take about an hour and are offered free of charge to Members in order to introduce you to our Strength and Cardio fitness equipment. During these sessions, an Instructor will demonstrate how to properly perform exercises for maximum safety and benefit. However, Group Orientations are not customized and do not take into account special needs. Please see a Fitness Staff Member to sigh-up.
